B22 vs E27 LED Bulb Bases: Difference, Compatibility and Selection

B22 and E27 are two common lamp-base formats. They can look similar from a distance, but their mechanical connections are different. A B22 bulb locks into a bayonet-style holder, while an E27 bulb screws into a threaded holder.
The base determines physical compatibility. It does not by itself determine brightness, wattage, colour temperature or product quality.
How B22 connects#
